The production process of spherical steel granules, involves the fusion of selected scraps and selected alloys
The molten material is poured and at the same time hit by a high-pressure water jet. This is how particles are formed that fall into a water tank under which they solidify into spherical granules.
Once the malformed grains have been removed by sieving, the spherical granulation is divided according to size and subsequently heat treated

For special applications, TECHMA has created spherical/spherical, spherical/angular, angular/angular blends depending on the end use of the product itself

Steel shot can be used indiscriminately with turbine systems, free jet blasting and air blasting booths with excellent performance. However, the granules themselves are not suitable, for technical reasons, for use in vacuum blasting cabinets.
